Concrete Pools! Why do we love them and recommend them so much?

1. They are totally customisable! If you want a pool in the shape of a pineapple that’s half outside and half inside your house with a palm tree in the middle of it, it can be done! Maybe you want to go a bit simpler with a classic rectangle shape with large access steps? That can be done too!
2. Access! We have done a lot of pools with difficult access on thin and hilly streets. The concrete is poured in via a long tube from the street. It’s a much less invasive way to build a pool with no cranes involved and can still be done in bad weather!
3. Adaptability. Maybe 20 years passes, your kids have grown up and moved out and your wanting a smaller pool or want to add a spa onto it? Life changed and we can’t always predict what we will want forever in our backyards. Concrete can be renovated! So you never feel like your stuck with the same shape, colour or size forever! We do alot of pool renovations where new home owners want to add their own personality to the pool.
4. Cost. Some clients are concerned that concrete pools are more expensive than other options like fibreglass. Well good news, when comparing the final cost once the job is done, it’s not actually that different!

There are clients who prefer to go with fibreglass pools and that’s absolutely fine, we just like concrete pools more!
